Qualifications

The GDI Awards’ GInI Ambassador is open to any individual or organization who – through their direct advocacy on behalf of GInI – has met the award’s criteria by producing a significantly positive impact in their region of the world on behalf of GInI and its mission. One award is awarded each year from amongst all applicants.

This award is open to any party – individual or organization – anywhere in the world, without regard for any irrelevant attributes of that party.

To Qualify for the GInI Ambassador Award:

  1. The party must have maintained direct affiliation with GInI in some manner over the entire preceding year.
  2. The party must have undertaken a sizeable advocacy and promotional effort on behalf of GInI and its mission.
  3. The party must have – over the preceding year, and through its advocacy and promotional effort on behalf of GInI – had a significantly positive impact in the world by significantly advancing the cause of Innovation in its region inside both public and private sector organizations.

Each of the above must be attested by the applicant.

Anyone can nominate a party for an Ambassador GDI Award – including self-nomination by the affected party.

GInI Ambassador Award Nomination

The GDI GInI Ambassador Award Nomination Application contains nine (9) parts :

  1. The name and contact information of the individual or organization being nominated.
  2. If an organization, the identity of each individual therein who played a significant role in this effort, and the specific role they played.
  3. If an individual, the name, location, and region served of the organization they are affiliated with for this context.
  4. If an individual, the nature of the organization this individual is associated with (sector / industry / markets / offerings). If an organization, the nature of the organization itself (sector / industry / markets / offerings).
  5. A detailed explanation of what exactly this individual or organization has done over the preceding year (their advocacy and promotional efforts) to produce a significantly positive impact in their region on behalf of GInI and its mission.
  6. A thorough explanation of the measurable positive impact this individual’s or organization’s advocacy and promotional efforts have produced over the preceding year in their region and/or beyond.
  7. An explanation of what this individual or organization has learned throughout this process that they may be able to share with other GInI Ambassadors (if known).
  8. The applicant’s name and contact information.
  9. The applicant’s and a witness’ affirmation of the accuracy of the information provided herein.
