The GDI Awards’ Chapter Category is open to any GInI chapter that has been officially organized under the authority of GInI, is thereby registered with GInI, and is currently active – including with a cohort of active GInI Council Members – and that has met the award’s criteria by producing a significantly positive impact in its region of the world on behalf of the mission of GInI. One award is awarded each year from amongst all active GInI chapters.

This award is open to any GInI chapter, anywhere in the world, without regard for any irrelevant attributes of that chapter.

To Qualify for the Distinguished Chapter Award:

The chapter must have been fully active over the course of the entire preceding year.

The chapter must contain multiple active GInI Council Members in good standing with GInI.

The chapter must have – over the preceding year, and via its programming and other outreach and developmental efforts, had a significantly positive impact in its region of the world on behalf of the mission of GInI.

Each of the above must be attested by the applicant.

Anyone can nominate a chapter for a Chapter GDI Award – including self-nomination by the affected chapter.
