Global Innovation Institute (GInI) has announced a major enhancement to its organizational accreditation framework, unveiling a new star-based ranking system and a revised reassessment policy that will go into effect on 01 May 2025.
This new framework replaces the previous three-tier classification model and will now apply uniformly to all four of GInI’s organizational accreditations:
Certified Innovative Organization® (CInOrg)
Certified Governmental Innovator® (CGInO)
Certified Innovative University® (CInU)
Certified Innovative Growth Venture® (CInGV)
In addition to the new ranking system, GInI is also implementing a revised reassessment policy designed to enhance evaluation integrity and objectivity.
Each reassessment must be conducted by a different set of Assessors than those who performed the previous evaluation.
This ensures that every organization is reviewed with a fresh perspective at least every other assessment cycle, strengthening the credibility and impartiality of the process.
Anthony Mills, Executive Director of GInI, commented:
“This evolution in our accreditation model reflects our commitment to rigor, fairness, and adaptability. Organizations at any stage of their innovation journey will now have a clearer path—and a more precise standard—against which to measure their growth.”
All assessments conducted on or after 01 May 2025 must follow the updated ranking system and reassessment policy using the latest tools provided to GInI ATAPs® and AInAs®.
