The Global Innovation Institute (GInI), a leading authority in professional innovation certification and accreditation, has announced the official establishment of the GInI Korea Center in partnership with IPConsulting, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of innovation capabilities across South Korea.

The launch of the GInI Korea Center signifies a deepened commitment to empowering innovation professionals, academic institutions, and businesses in the region with world-class resources, certifications, and a vibrant innovation ecosystem. It will serve as a dedicated hub for fostering the practice of Applied Innovation—offering training, assessment, and community engagement tailored to local needs.

The center will be led by Mr. Byung Sun Kang, Principal of IPConsulting and Head of the Korea Chapter of GInI. Mr. Kang is a prominent figure in South Korea’s innovation landscape and plays an active role in the Korean Innovation Management Association (KOIMA), a GInI Authorized Provider. His leadership brings deep expertise and a strong network of innovators across sectors.

As part of its foundational efforts, the GInI Korea Center will also oversee the forthcomingKorean translation of the Applied Innovation Master BookGInI’s flagship resource for innovation professionals. The translation process is already well underway, with approximately 80% of the work completed. Once finalized, the Korean edition will provide local practitioners with greater access to critical frameworks, principles, and methodologies in the field of Applied Innovation.

In addition to facilitating certification programs, the Center will act as a bridge connecting Korean innovators to GInI’s global innovation network, enabling greater collaboration, benchmarking, and visibility on the international stage. “We’re thrilled to launch the GInI Korea Center in collaboration with IPConsulting,” said Anthony Mills, Executive Director of GInI. “This initiative reinforces our commitment to expanding innovation capacity worldwide by establishing locally rooted, globally connected centers of excellence.”

The establishment of the Korea Center aligns with GInI’s broader mission to institutionalize innovation practices and support the professional growth of innovation leaders around the world
